You really feel for Ingrid and fall for Dan. Suprisingly Good I thought this might be a just a light dramedy, but was pleasantly suprised with the deeper character development. To not like her but really it’s her new friends in la you end up hating lol It’s funny yet also a little dark ! Ingrid’s character is set up

Wrong message to go to our young people right now. Terrible message START: a character who struggles with a social media problemįINISH: a director who conveys a dangerous message about creating suicide videos for fame Can't find a non-taken nickname Score: 2/5 I'm not sure what the point is of continuing to watch, other than to gawk at the train wreck that was sure to come. Very insane person doing very insane things, and. Didntifade Score: 5/5Ĭouldn't finish Maybe other people will like this film, but it wasn't to my taste. The cast and crew are spectacular! Definitely recommend. The film is gripping, hilarious, and leaves you thinking after watching. Then I traveled again when I had the time because the film is just so perfect. No theaters were playing the film locally, so I traveled an hour and a half to a theater that was playing it and was not at all disappointed. Ingrid Goes West is hauntingly realistic in this modern world we live in, and shows the desire to love and be loved. Refreshing and Brilliant Moving aside the bias of me being a huge fan of Aubrey Plaza, this film will have you in fits of laughter and in pools of emotional tears. And shame on the producers, writers and cast □. I don’t recommend it to anyone who’s even the slightest off balance. How irresponsible to put this out without showing the true consequences and only getting what she wanted- totally whacked.

This flick has absolutely no reasoning to the plot except to showcase a mentally disturbed young girl and try to make a comedy of it. Even though it’s not done for that reason- I find this disturbing since so many ppl are obsessive about looks, ppl they know, clothes, celebs etc and so on. Having said that- I can not believe this movie □ glorifies trying to commit suicide on the web for a group of followers. What the “F” □□♀️ Obsession in social media is without a doubt growing faster than I think anyone expect.

The cheap, fast way to send money abroad. Once you decided to become a beggar, you just couldn't be a picky chooser. Want me to play a role in your farce? Money first, no refund, if the movie turned out to be a bummer. Making more money as he still could, to hell with the screenplay, the scenario, the plot.since farce does need or require his once great performing art, all he has to do is his squeezed facial expressions, dirty words in the dialog are the easier part.

Almost in all of his recent years' movies, he just repeatedly used his ugly and uglier old facial expressions to waltz through all of these formulaic miserable farces, the only improved difference is that mole on his face. By doing so many clown-like characters in so many farces, now his facial expressions and his acting were limited only to his face: his mouth and his wrinkles acting formula, and nothing else. But there's a negative drawback: most of these films he signed on were not serious enough movies but so-called "Comedy", the genre that has been messed up with "Farce"(or, Farmedy?). he would respond and accept any cast thrown his way, cashing in his old fame is the only way to add up more zeros in his bank account. Like some of the other old Hollywood gizzards, Christopher Plummer, Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Diane Keaton, Michael Cann. De Niro, I think also got this before-its-too-late urgent syndrome. Everybody wants to go to heaven/paradise(*if there's one), but better late than sooner and before the curtain calls you to kick the bucket, better drive a dream car before DMV requesting you to do a eyesight test. That scene always made you think: Why so many old farts driving these kind fast cars? After you looked in the mirror and did some deep soul search, you'd suddenly realize that time is the essence of forcing you to do something more extravaganza before it's too late.

Have you ever noticed that often when we are on the road driving to somewhere, suddenly there's 2-door convertible Porsche whizzed by on either side of your 10-year old clunky Corolla, you looked up and you always found the driver of that $100thousand++ sport car was a gray haired or baldy old gizzard.
